This was the old Housekeeping cabin - the only cabin with a kitchen before 2008. The second floor was completely replaced and was remodeled as a duplex style home. Oak on the left is a home with one large bedroom sleeping 5. The right side is called Burr Oak which is a studio with a queen bed and bunk beds. Oak was named after one of the last 5 cabins where Hickory is now located. Burr Oak is named after the first cabin Dr. Earl Brand stayed in during the 1950’s. It was located where Spruces was built today. This studio can be rented when the Brand’s aren’t at Pine Cone.
